ABOUT ME

I currently work at Apple as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Maps 3D Vision team. Prior to that, I worked at Third Wave Automation, developing visual algorithms for autonomous forklifts and managing a team of 5+ engineers. My Ph.D. work focussed on perception for robotics applications. I have worked on several exciting fields such as unsupervised learning from large video datasets, visual environment understanding for robots using simulation environments and a combination of reinforcement learning and supervised learning, and recurrent neural networks for real-time object tracking in videos.
